Just went toe-to-toe with a seven foot snake.
My little sister, my aunt and I were home alone. My parents had left to a funeral. Our dogs started barking wildly. I ran out there to find them going at the snake, and the snake striking at them.  Do you know what that feels like? I felt completely helpless and terrified and frightened and horrified. And did I mention scared? I managed to call the dogs off and lock them away from the snake....
