First World Problem of the Day: Poetry
We’re covering poetry in my creative writing class and our assignment required us to write a short poem with the abab rhyming scheme, but my brain has been drawing a blank for the last 20 minutes. I wanted this to be a cutesy, summer crush sort of poem, but I can’t think of any clever words that rhyme with heart that would make the poem flow.
The only word that keeps coming to mind is fart. Heart, fart. Ugh.
